I was reading a favorite blog, Nerd Fitness, today and Steve posted about a challenge he is undertaking this month. He plans to walk a mile first thing every morning. I had been strongly thinking about doing that in addition to my 4x per week workouts I have planned and decided to do that, too.
So every morning during November, walk 1 mile first thing in the morning. While walking, plan the first thing you will do when you get back home or to the office to dominate that day. Awesome!

This should burn about 80 calories per day, for a monthly total of about 2400 extra calories. While that’s not a lot, it’s still about 0.7 pounds of fat. And if you can get outside for the walk, that’s a lot of mind-clearing fresh air.
